Education programmes
Our learning programmes for schools and young people bring the history of Brimstone Hill
to life through tours, workshops, and hands-on activities.
Guided visits
School groups can book guided visits tailored to key stages and curricula. Our guides
lead students through the fortress and museum, with time for questions and discussion.
Sessions can focus on the construction of the fortress, daily life in the garrison, the
role of enslaved labour, or the meaning of World Heritage.
Workshops and special programmes
Where capacity allows, we offer workshops and special programmes—for example, object
handling, local history, or heritage skills. These are often run in partnership with
educators and can be adapted to your needs. Contact the office to discuss options.
Resources for teachers
We provide resources to support teaching before and after a visit, including reading
lists, fact sheets, and suggested activities. See Resources
for downloads and further information.
